  1. Dr. Cornwall…thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about such an important topic. I am a hospital physician working in Ashland, Ohio. I am one of the fortunate ones to have connected with my local mental health and recovery board as I sought to understand the underlying drive by individuals, myself included, to the adverse effects of self treatment for childhood trauma. I learned about the ACE study and recognized that my first 17 years in practice lacked the foundation of trauma informed care. Your thoughts are promising. I look forward to exploring your website.
